The title of my article is called ” Attorney defends actions of fired officer as justified and lawful”. An attorney for the South Carolina officer fired for slamming a student to the ground and tossing her several feet, says his client. “We believe that Mr.Fields actions were justified and lawful throughout the circumstances of which he was confronted during this incident.

To that extent, people believe that Mr.Fields actions were carried out professionally and that he was performing his job duties within the legal threshold, “field’s attorney, Scott Hayes, said in a statement. Fields admitted he used “muscling techniques”, to get the student out of her chair. Fields says the student deserved what happened because she had disruptive behavior, and he had to do his job.

As a result, Fields was wrong and should’ve been fired for his actions. I feel this situation was uncalled for, because even though the student wasn’t being respectful,I believe the officer could’ve handled the situation better. I am a student and I would never want to be caught in this situation and neither would my classmates. Yes, people should punish people but you don’t have to go overboard.

“They told me to meet them at a certain address with the money. It was an old abandoned house. They told me to wait for a silver car to come, and to throw the money inside. After a few minutes a car came. I threw the money inside and it drove off. Soon another car pulled up, the door opened, and my son was thrown out. I didn’t believe it was my son. It was like I was born again. I picked him up and I started running and I didn’t stop until I reached a place full of people. Both of us cried as I ran.” (Hegyeshalom, Hungary)

I chose this picture because this shows how much this father loves his son and he will do anything for him. I can relate to this because my parents love me so much and if anything happened to me, I know they would do there best to try to save me because that’s how much they care.

Attempting to make it through the year without any working computers,Leaguetown High School is working towards rent computers before the yearbook deadline, Feb. 27.

The yearbook has a deadline for a 48-page on February 27. Rodney Stephens, was allowed to download pictures and spreads that’ll be good for the deadline before the system closed.

“This year we pushed our final yearbook deadline back as far as we could to add more coverage to the book,” says Junior and editor of the yearbook, Alexiz Zavia.

Stephens mentioned Yearbook Day for the seniors and how it will be terminated if the yearbook is not completed soon.

Stephens said, “That would essentially kill an important tradition at the school. Ten years ago when I came here, I asked the principal if I should eliminate that event, and he was floored that I would even ask.”

The journalism class would like to rent four Macintosh computers with the necessary software for $500 from MacWorld but isn’t positive if the school board will approve.

Stephens said, “If the board doesn’t approve the $5oo expenditure, I am not sure what we will do. I would rather not think of it that way.”

The title of my article is called “High School Football Player Dies After Collapsing at Practice.”

A high school athlete of Georgia, Rod Williams, died Monday after two weeks of collapsing during a team practice.

Eric Parker, high school head coach of Burke, confirmed Williams collapsed September, 22 and was sent to Georgia Regents Medical Center.

“We were hoping and praying he would come back; it just wasn’t meant to be,” Parker said.

However, additional details for Williams death wasn’t reported in the “Staats Report”. Also, Parker noted Williams took a “turn for the worst.”

What I feel about this event is heartbroken. It’s never good to hear about someone dying. This event affects me because I am athlete, and you never know what could happen. Also, this event affects the world because plenty kids and adults are athletes. There are circumstances that people are going through and deaths are revolving all around the world.
