Hospitals are in the world, for people to receive care if they are sick. Today people are receiving more infections, due to the hospitals.

People with infections are getting even more bigger infections and bedsores. People are not dying because of what their in the hospital for but because of hospital errors.

One reason, that was given, due to the situation was people believe that most of these deaths could be prevented if health care providers always adhered to evidence-informed practices.

Many procedures that nurses and doctors conduct on, they give much medication to the patients, that even little error rates can translate to tens of thousands of patients harmed,in the world.

People are starting to wurry about the medication(drugs) doctors/nurses give us  because who knows if it’s going to make me better or worse?

Questions are being asked by patients and even doctors, such as: “how can health systems be made safer when success means changing the attitudes and habits of health care professionals at a time when many are overwhelmed and deeply frustrated by all of the demands being made on them?

Many hospitals have took to heart about what this situation is doing to people, and the health people are trying to keep a headway in improving saftey.

The title of my article is called “American student young 3 killed in West Bank assault.”

Killed in West Bank, an American student was among three people that were killed by an attacker who had fired shots and rammed pedestrians, said the Israel Defense.

The IDF says, the attack happened at a busy intersection in Gush Etzion, when unidentified gunman opened fire at vehicles stopped in traffic. According the IDF, they did this before ramming his vehicle into pedestrians.

Not only were the four students were killed but many Americans were deadly injured in the attack.

The next day, two people were killed in a stabbing attack, according to Isreal police. However, the attacker was arrested and is in police custody.

This situation may have an impact on the world and I because there are people out there in the world who likes to hurt people and would do anything to do so. Therefore people have to watch out who they are around because anything could happen.

This week, the title of my article is called, “ Rare recovery of 3 year old who shot himself in the head”.

The parents of Darnal Mundy, thought he wouldn’t survive because of the terrible action Darnal had took. The 3 year old had grabbed a gun, in his home and accidentally shot himself in the head.

Darnal’s curiosity, and bright eyes about the world around him, is what you’ll expect from a thriving child age. After the weeks of his intensive therapy, he’s starting to walk and regain control of the right side of the body.

“One nurse told me she’s been here for 18 years. She said she’s hardly seen children ever survive a gunshot wound to the head,” said Dorphise Jean, Darnal’s mother.

Therefore, this shows how there is luck in the world. Darnal is very lucky to still be alive and to being able go back home. Also,he will still visit the rehabilitation hospital to make sure he’s feeling well.

“He’s going to continue to make progress…he’s going to be something very important in life because he’s here with us…”, said Darnal’s Doctor.

This situation has an impact on the world because some people in this world, carries guns in their homes and have children. Parents have to be aware of their children finding guns, or terrible actions will occur, because anything could happen.

In Washington and Oregon, Chipotle has temporarily closed dozens of its restaurants out of an abundance of caution after an E. coli scare.

The Washington State Department of Health said “No one has died in the reported cases of infection.” Seven patients of Washington and one of Oregon’s were hospitalized.

From Portland, Oregon, Chris Collins, went to an urgent care center two days after eating at Chipotle restaurant.

“I’ve never gotten sick like this. The excruciating pain in my abdomen was something I’ve never experienced, collins told CNN affiliate KATU.”  The urgent care center sent Collins to a hospital emergency room.

With six locations in the Seattle and Portland areas, Chipotle has temporarily closed 43 stores are being investigated in connection.

“We immediately closed all of our restaurants in the area out of an abundance of caution, even though the vast majority of these restaurants have reported problems,” said Chipotle spokesman Chris Arnold.

Therefor, Chipotle is working with health departments to help determine the cause of the cases, so people can enjoy eating at Chipotle.

This situation impacts the world, because their are many people who enjoy having Chipotle. People would be disappointed if the “Chipotle Restaurant” closed. This situation doesn’t have an affect on me but I do believe Chipotle is a enjoyable restaurant and I enjoy eating their. However, of Chipotle closes I wouldn’t be that disappointed.

The title of my article is called ” Attorney defends actions of fired officer as justified and lawful”. An attorney for the South Carolina officer fired for slamming a student to the ground and tossing her several feet, says his client. “We believe that Mr.Fields actions were justified and lawful throughout the circumstances of which he was confronted during this incident.

To that extent, people believe that Mr.Fields actions were carried out professionally and that he was performing his job duties within the legal threshold, “field’s attorney, Scott Hayes, said in a statement. Fields admitted he used “muscling techniques”, to get the student out of her chair. Fields says the student deserved what happened because she had disruptive behavior, and he had to do his job.

As a result, Fields was wrong and should’ve been fired for his actions. I feel this situation was uncalled for, because even though the student wasn’t being respectful,I believe the officer could’ve handled the situation better. I am a student and I would never want to be caught in this situation and neither would my classmates. Yes, people should punish people but you don’t have to go overboard.

“They told me to meet them at a certain address with the money. It was an old abandoned house. They told me to wait for a silver car to come, and to throw the money inside. After a few minutes a car came. I threw the money inside and it drove off. Soon another car pulled up, the door opened, and my son was thrown out. I didn’t believe it was my son. It was like I was born again. I picked him up and I started running and I didn’t stop until I reached a place full of people. Both of us cried as I ran.” (Hegyeshalom, Hungary)

I chose this picture because this shows how much this father loves his son and he will do anything for him. I can relate to this because my parents love me so much and if anything happened to me, I know they would do there best to try to save me because that’s how much they care.

Practice News Writing

Attempting to make it through the year without any working computers,Leaguetown High School is working towards rent computers before the yearbook deadline, Feb. 27.

The yearbook has a deadline for a 48-page on February 27. Rodney Stephens, was allowed to download pictures and spreads that’ll be good for the deadline before the system closed.

“This year we pushed our final yearbook deadline back as far as we could to add more coverage to the book,” says Junior and editor of the yearbook, Alexiz Zavia.

Stephens mentioned Yearbook Day for the seniors and how it will be terminated if the yearbook is not completed soon.

Stephens said, “That would essentially kill an important tradition at the school. Ten years ago when I came here, I asked the principal if I should eliminate that event, and he was floored that I would even ask.”

The journalism class would like to rent four Macintosh computers with the necessary software for $500 from MacWorld but isn’t positive if the school board will approve.

Stephens said, “If the board doesn’t approve the $5oo expenditure, I am not sure what we will do. I would rather not think of it that way.”

The title of my article is called “High School Football Player Dies After Collapsing at Practice.”

A high school athlete of Georgia, Rod Williams, died Monday after two weeks of collapsing during a team practice.

Eric Parker, high school head coach of Burke, confirmed Williams collapsed September, 22 and was sent to Georgia Regents Medical Center.

“We were hoping and praying he would come back; it just wasn’t meant to be,” Parker said.

However, additional details for Williams death wasn’t reported in the “Staats Report”. Also, Parker noted Williams took a “turn for the worst.”

What I feel about this event is heartbroken. It’s never good to hear about someone dying. This event affects me because I am athlete, and you never know what could happen. Also, this event affects the world because plenty kids and adults are athletes. There are circumstances that people are going through and deaths are revolving all around the world.
